Spring Break

We went down to St. George for our Spring Break early in March.

You can see from the snow on the mountains that it was a bit cold, but the kids had fun with the waterguns!

We had fun playing tennis too!

It was cold, but we got the hot tub fired up!

One of our new favorite family activities is playing Rock Band together. The kids had fun showboating on the stage!

Family Pictures

Ice Castles

Tubing

We had a fun outing to Soldier Hollow in December.

Kids Christmas activities

Paige still loves ballet!

Paige and James both are doing well in Piano!

It's been so long....

Ok, so I know most of you know my excuse for not keeping this up to date, but for any that don't, I've been sick. Real sick. Like 3 months of throwing up. But I'm getting better. Still sick most days, but only for a short time, usually. And I do pretty good if I stick to a few things: don't exercise and don't eat anything that stays too long in my stomach or is too acidic. But enough bellyaching (hee hee, couldn't help myself) now I'll start posting pictures! :)

Thanksgiving Thanks

I am thankful for many things this Thanksgiving time, but most particularly, the fact that Annabelle is in preschool. I have a precious few hours to be me. Sans kids. Seriously, I am so grateful for the stage of life Matt and I are in. Paige is old enough to babysit for a while, yet not old enough for puberty (yet!!), everyone gets along (usually!!), they like doing things with us still, and life is good...

And, an extra special reason why I was thankful on Thanksgiving (after the fact, admittedly): that was the one day last week that no one was sick. The rest of the days we had various forms (and degrees) of feverish, puking, coughing and sleeping children (one of whom is over 30). :)

XC Fever!!

This is going to be me in a few weeks! (Or as soon as we get enough snow.) I talked my mom into getting me cross country skis for Christmas. (Yay Mom!) I ordered them, they came, and I got the bindings mounted! I actually tried them out on our 15 foot long patch of snow in our yard tonight. (I'm a huge dork, I know...) I might not be able to wait for Christmas! :)

In January there's a Winter Triathlon up in Midway. It's running (on snow), biking (on snow), and xc skiing. I am so stoked! Never really ran or biked on a packed trail before, so I need to try that out before I actually sign up.
